Better options for the price

For the price there are better options. I lived here from 2018 – 2024. At first it was a decent starter apartment as rent was cheaper in 2018 but in 2024 for what they are asking there are newer and better apartments.
When I moved in in 2018, I told them that the carpet had some stains, now conveniently, that is not on the move in inspection so I have to pay $150 for carpet cleaning for stains that were there before I moved in. During my 6 year tenancy I never spilled anything or tracked mud. I...
was told that the carpet gets replaced every 7 years. It was not replaced in 2018 when I moved in and I lived there for 6 years so it is due to be replaced now and they are choosing not to.
Also the entry way roof leaked during heavy rain, I reported this at least 3 times and it never got fixed until Jul of 2024 when basically the whole entryway tile flooded and part of the carpet did as well causing it to stain. (Had to pay for those stains to be cleaned too).
The seals around the windows and doors are terrible, I had to put up the plastic insulation each winter to keep the cold air out. I could sit there and watch the plastic air up like a balloon with the draft.
I knew 2 other people who lived in 2 other buildings, one that had a terrible brown recluse infestation and the apt only offered to keep spraying which did not solve the issue. They also had a bunch of minor maintenance issues that were poorly repaired. The other couple was forced to pay for carpet replacement when they too didn’t spill anything.
Also, my cars were hit twice while parked, and I paid for the carport parking. That is more of a tenant issue though.
The buildings were built in the 90s so there are going to be things that are worn down but for the price now, there are newer and nicer apartments to consider.

Move-Out Charges

Lived at this complex for over 4 years, paid everything on time, never caused damage to apartment or surrounding property. Once I finished my lease and moved out, they charged me $247.75 for “carpet pet cleaning and stretching.” They could not specify if the charge was due to urine, throw up, or even mentioned it could be from little pieces of fur wedged in carpet. I had paid for professional cleaners to steam clean carpet prior to move out and it was spot less. Not to mention, the carpet in all... the apartments are the low quality-builder grade carpet. Very disappointed in how they treated having a good tenant living there for so long.

RODENTS and bugs everywhere + rude manager

We haven’t slept well since we moved in months ago, squirrels noises, traps put in ceiling to trap squirrels and the trapped squirrels keeps banging all night, no sleep. Very frustrating. Maintenance doesn’t keep their word to come and get the trapped squirrels out, you have to call many times and follow through for them to do their job! Nightmare living. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Unbearable Infestation

The infestation is by far the worst I've ever experienced in my entire life. No one deserves to live in such conditions. The kind of insects, rodents, ect..., that you fight with in and outside your living quarters is truly unbearable. Very spacious, has potential, but over taken by pest of every species, sadly your lured in by specials that quickly go away. Recently fulfilled lease and quickly ran.

OVERPRICED & RUDE

Overpriced!
maintenance Sucks.. if you want to call multiple times to get something fixed, you are wasting your time!
Some of the office staff is super RUDE. Make sure you document who you talk to, because the office staff doesn't communicate with each other they contradict each other. One person will tell you something is ok, and someone else says it's not.
My advice TALK TO MANAGEMENT FIRST!

If you get a ground level apt, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE BUG PROBLEMS.
Found a roach in the bathroom on 2...
occassions,
Spiders are everywhere.
Mudbugs and roly polys are constantly slipping through the cracks of the doors.

Windows and gutters are horrible, they leak during rain storms and floods on the inside
and you will have ICE sealing your windows shut if its Snowing

Dryer maintenance is bad, every month we call to get the lint contraption cleaned out and effects the heating coils
The dishwasher floods and leaks and doesn't clean any dishes fully

There's not enough storage space in the kitchen, the kitchen is very small and the sinks aren't very deep.
Inside the pantry smells like paint, and the paint quality is SO HORRIBLE.. it chips off easily and gets everywhere.

Not a very good experience for us.
