Security Deposit and Move out charges
This is just a warning for future renters. I moved out early but paid my lease off. I had to continue to pay the utilities on the apartment until the lease ended. Before I moved out, I patched the holes in the wall from hanging pictures and cleaned the entire apartment before I left. Not only did they keep the security deposit, but they also charged me 168 dollars for painting the whole apartment, 110 dollars for cleaning and 73 dollars for carpet cleaning. The argued the painting of the drywall... patching, they said because there was a hair tumbleweed, crumbs on the countertop, and the stainless-steel appliances were smeared, the justification of the cleaning fee. Carpet was the exact same when I moved out. So, for future renters, they will find a way to charge you, because I am telling you, the place was spotless when I moved out, they had to take a magnifying class and find crumbs to find another charge. On top of that, I had not heard from them in months, and they send a final bill and a required response of two days, or they send it to collections. I had never had issues with apartment complexes like this before, so please my advice is to take your business elsewhere.
