Churchill Court
The good:
My one bedroom apartment is a good bang for the buck. My rent is under 1,000/month. There is plenty of space that includes a large living area with a big sliding window, a dining room (I use it as an office), a small kitchen, small bathroom and a decent sized bedroom. The bedroom fits my king size bed with plenty of room to spare and includes a large closet. The apartment was deep cleaned before I moved in, including professional carpet cleaning. There is a pool that is kept very... clean and always has a lifeguard when open. The management here is always helpful and answers any questions or requests promptly and with a smile. There is a 24/7 phone number you can call for maintenance emergencies and they answer your message immediately.
The bad:
These apartments are not at all updated. There is carpet throughout most of the apartment except for in the bathroom and kitchen which are linoleum. The kitchen counters are slightly old and the backsplash has a grandma design on it. The apartment definitely has an older feel to it.
The ugly:
As a person who REALLY hates cigarette smoke, I wish residents would adhere to the smoking policy. You are not supposed to smoke within a certain amount of feet from the building, but many residents ignore this and smoke right outside my sliding window, forcing me to keep it closed at times i'd rather not.
Overall, if you're on a budget I would absolutely recommend this place. It is homey and comfortable and I've enjoyed my time as a resident.
