Excellent management team who genuinely care about the community

My mother lives here. She is quite happy with the two bedroom apartment. It is bright and comfortable. The other residents are friendly and the staff work hard to create a lively community. There are activities nearly every day for the residents and meals five days per week. I would highly recommend the Gardens for senior independent living.

The Gardens of Annapolis is an ideal community for those who want independent living in Annapolis that is close to downtown and outlying areas. My mother in law lived there for a number of years (she has since had to transition to memory care living) but the staff were always helpful and watched out for her, the trips and engagement programs enjoyable and her apartment was a perfect size and very manageable. The building has been recently renovated and is beautiful . The dining room, common... areas, theater are all lovely and inviting, and the grounds are well maintained. The staff works with the resident and families to recommend outside resources when needed (one on one help for transportation, housekeeping, assistance after a health event, dog walking, etc) and the on-going activities and programs (like dining service for interested families if one doesn't want to cook dinners) are a huge bonus to all. Include the Gardens on your list if you are looking into downsizing to an engaging community for older adults. Lee mas
