Not perfect but fairly comfortable

My girlfriend and I have lived here for just under 2 years and here’s my take:

We chose these apartments because they fit our budget at the time. Overall I’d say it’s been a positive experience for what we pay. The property is quiet and well-kept and in a convenient location (walking distance to Wawa, very close to chic-fil-a, Aldi, Walmart, Walgreens + Lowe’s). Commuting to the base takes around 12-15 minutes, and there’s easy highway access right outside of the neighborhood. I’ve had no major...
issues with my neighbors, and management has been fairly easygoing and responsive. The water bill is included, and there’s plentiful open parking, great for someone with multiple vehicles. The neighborhood itself feels pretty safe and has plenty of sidewalks and streets to walk, run, or ride a bike through.

The negatives include outdated appliances (our oven was made in ‘95, dishwasher sounds like a rocket ship, etc.), thin floors/walls (I know when the neighbor’s dogs need to go out, for example), occasional bugs, lots of water damage to our ceiling from rain (top floor), and water constantly being cut off on short notice. Our water was cut off for 8 hours straight, around once a month for what felt like 4-5 months. This was very frustrating for my gf who was working nights and had to force herself up early to get things done in the bathroom for the day. On the same note, open parking is fine during the day but pretty packed at night, if you work shifts be prepared to walk a little. There are no major amenities here aside from the swimming pool which has been closed all year unfortunately. There are no gates, so you will get the occasional knock at the door from someone trying to sell a service, or provide a restaurant pamphlet, but we haven’t had any major privacy or safety concerns.

These apartments are what you pay for, not bad but not amazing. They’re older and sometimes it shows. The community here is nice and the environment is safe and clean. I can afford to move myself out of here now, but Woodside has been a pleasant experience for most of my stay.

Shady. Rude management. Low quality apartments.

BEWARE AUTORENEWING LEASE- this means they can auto renew your lease at a HIGHER RATE without you signing anything or even being aware. They apparently send letters to notify--never received. Read EVERY SINGLE WORD OF YOUR LEASE. They are not willing to work with you.

Among other things:
Horrible management. Low quality apartments- bugs, bad carpeting, horrible paint, shoddy light fixtures etc.

Bad people, bad apartments.

Horrible leasing terms. Read very very carefully and have it in arms reach.

Constant construction going on making for water being turned off OFTEN. Extremely loud renovations going on constantly in our entire one year span of living here.
Management is awful. Rude and negligent.
Apartments are tiny. Pictures make them look much larger. High cost for low square footage. Terrible quality regarding walls, bug infestation, insulation, carpeting and literally the entire apartment. Heating and...
cooling is unreliable and does not circulate even in tiny apartments. Barely any overhead lighting if that's something you care about.

Poorly Managed and Services

Lived there for 3 years. The only reason I was living there because I was on the first floor and kids were young so did not wanted to move to anything other than first floor which was not available as and when I looked.
Finally moved out now.

Stuff were stolen from the Laundary Room.
Bicycle with Stand were stolen from Patio.
For simple fix/services in the apartment, you have to make many calls to the Leasing Office to get it done.
Appliances were old and upon multiple request, never got...
change.
Lots of Bugs. Only Once in 3 years bug treatment was done.

Woodside Terrace

Well maintained and clean . Everyone from the rental office to maintence crew are attentive and professional. My apartment is renovated with beautiful kitchen cabinets , appliances, and countertops. To make it feel more like my home -I was able to choose an accent wall paint color for one wall. I
