Poor customer service
I have lived in this community for two months so far. Everything was going great up until three days ago when there was a wind storm. During this wind storm the side of my house suffered major damage. The tiles were blown completely off and there were also many tiles left hanging on the side. The tiles that were left hanging created excruciating sounds. It literally sounded like construction workers were banging as loud as . humanly possible accompanied by a VERY loud grinding noise as the tiles... slid up and down the side of the house. An emergency maintenance man came out to look at it and stated we were "safe". I asked if we would be reimburse for a hotel due to the horrible sounds and the corporate operations manager Sara called us to say that it was windy and the noise is to be expected when its windy... I was very insulted by that statement because obviously if my house was in tact and it was windy I would never ask for a hotel, but I felt my situation was much different! The very next day (Saturday), I went to the rental office to see if someone could at least pull off the hanging tile and secure the tile that was loose all around my house for safety reasons (tile had blown all over and could've easily hit someone walking by or a car). Tile was also knocking against a satellite dish attached to my house which I was concerned could cause sparks or electrical damage. I was once again shut down and told I had to wait till Monday due to "unavailable vendors." I was never offered any compensation due to this huge inconvenience and safety hazard (not to mention I had out of town family members coming to visit me this weekend). I felt my concerns were merely brushed off and the only person who seemed she truly cared but didn't have the last say was a very nice leasing agent. I am very disappointed!
(Update): They did fix the side of my house six days later, only after I put up pictures on Google of how awful the house looked. They then flagged my pictures because I refused to take them down till they fixed the house. Before I put up a review, they were not concerned with my issues.
