And it was the complete opposite experience compared to my first apartment. Beautiful new complex. Pool was kept clean, as were the ground. My neighbors when I first moved in were college kids that partied all the time, and my car was broken into one night because of it...took my rollerblades I had just bought, among other things. But other than that, the experience was positive. Well, except rent shot up after the first year. Just a bit less than my house payment now.

Not sure what the... last reviewer had a problem with...Maybe slow down before taking on those speed bumps? Parking is literally right in front of your door, closer than a garage to a house. Maintenance was always quick and 24/7 if needed. And in the winter they plow the visitor parking then ask tenants to move their cars so they can plow that side too. Not at all difficult unless you work nights. Management was great too, keeping people with kids in certain buildings, single residence in others, so it was less of a bother and rowdy. Only time I even saw the kids were at the pool, and it was relatively quiet still.

All and all, a great place to live if you can afford it, and don't wish to have the hassles of a house! Lee mas

Tenants are rude, office is unprofessional and low quality, maintenance is terrible, parking is absolutely the worst, you're written up for things neighbors complain about with no proof, speed bumps damage vehicles, the roadway/parking lot is a zoo in the winter, the plow team hired to do the roads are fools, kids are rowdy and parents don't care...i can keep going

My wife and I lived at Alderwood Estates for five years with our three sons, it was a great place to call home.
The area is a safe place to raise a family, the school picked up our kids right in front of our apartment, you are located literally 2 min from Walmart and the one mall in Bay City so it is perfectly located.
Maintenance responded very quickly for any need we had and they kept the property well groomed and clean.
The office staff treated us wonderfully and our kids also loved... living there as well. Lee mas

Newer apartments built in 2007. Open floor plan, pets are allowed, even small dogs. Overall I would rate this apartment 4.5 out of 5 for the money. Office management does a good job of working with the residents needs. Timely fixes, large pool, club house for free use for parties.
