Horrible dwellings

Do not under any circumstances live at Capitol Commons. The management is extremely horrible not to say the maintenance is all but nonexistent you will have unwanted extra's like mice,rat's even a cockroach or two. I would rather be homeless then live there. It's the worst place in Lansing.

2nd time living here

Great location - walking distance/ short drive to most everything. Friendly staff I moved in again and had a good experience with the staff that is now working there.

The staff was very friendly and was very helpful with finding me an apartment and moving me in.Really close to just about everything.

If I could give negative stars I would

Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. I’ve had the worst experience with management. If I could give negative stars I would. Please listen to the bad reviews, it’s not worth it. Management will absolutely do everything in their power to make sure you’re taken advantage of in every possible way while spitting in your face doing it. Don’t live here. It’s not worth it. I actually think that one good review is fake.

Infested with drugs

If I could give Capitol Commons a negative star I would. There was a shootout a few months ago at one of the units on Kalamazoo Street. The bullets went into a mans apartment and almost killed him while he slept. If you can afford it take your money somewhere else. Shootouts and kids playing outside are not a good mix.
