Ants, bugs, leaks...
Tl;dr: massive ant (and bug) problem, little security, outdated appliances, restrictive parking, but the neighbors are nice.
I've never seen so many ants. They aren't just localized to the kitchen where the food is, they're in the bedrooms, the living room, the laundry room, the bathroom. That they exist in a place with no food speaks to the volume of the ant problem already. I have seen lines of ants marching across my bedroom floor. We've also seen boxelders and some variant of dark beetle....
The thermostat is outdated and simply reads two numbers on either side (60-90) with a needle somewhere in the middle, the ground floor is perpetually hot, even in the winter, but don't open the window because more ants may make themselves at home. If you do open them, good luck closing them properly. If they do close properly, there is minimal security to keep someone from the outside opening it for you. To be fair, I've not had a problem so far with anyone trying to break in, but if security is a point of concern for you this way not be the place.
The kitchen had a leaky sink drain. The laundry is a bit expensive; the cheapest you'll get away with a full cycle (wash and dry) will run you four dollars, but if you have a bigger load, it will cost more. Every appliance provided in the unit is old and outdated, but the plus side is that they all still function (besides the thermostat).
Parking spaces are small, if you have an SUV or larger, you may have trouble finding a suitable spot. If you have a truck bigger than a Ford Ranger, a garage space will likely do you no good.
If you use a wheelchair, this is not the place for you.
On a positive note, most residents you pass by are very nice, they will hold the door if you need it, and engage in small talk if one wishes to initiate it.
