Poor management
When I first moved here in 2020, I was proud to call this place home. The management was consistent, and although minor issues arose over time, I felt confident they were being handled. However, about a year and a half ago, the original management team left, and we temporarily had new faces in the office (key word: temporarily). For the first three months, they seemed proactive—replacing old appliances, making repairs, and doing minor updates. We also had frequent inspections, which made it feel... like they were prepping the property for a sale.
Fast forward to my lease renewal period, we were presented with an offer and told that once accepted, we’d be notified when our new lease was ready to sign. Unfortunately, that notification never came, and our lease expired. Due to their negligence, we were forced onto a month-to-month lease, which comes with a $100 increase in rent.
Since then, trying to get in touch with anyone for help has been an absolute nightmare. The leasing office is never staffed unless you’re there for a property tour. They provided us with a hotline, but no one answers—only responding hours (or even days) later via text. I’ve emailed them as instructed, and it’s been almost a week with no response. I’ve even been charged late fees because I didn’t want to pay the extra amount I never agreed to.
The level of service and communication has completely deteriorated. What was once a place I was proud to call home has quickly become a source of frustration and stress. I hope this situation is rectified soon, but based on my experience, I’m not optimistic.
