I would recommend alternative arrangements as of Oct 2024.
My experience thus far has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I signed a lease for a 2-bedroom apartment with my roommate in May. We did not anticipate being told just over a week before move-in that our apartment would now be ready by September 15th (as opposed to August 15th), after we had been instructed to pay rent and select a move-in date by August 1st. During this, the office lost the ability to receive calls and email responses were delayed or absent. The compensation for... this displacement was an adjustment of rent to the temporary floor plan while in temporary housing, concession of utilities (which has been useless as utilities are included unless you exceed the allotted electrical usage), and a $100 gift card to the downstairs "grab and go market."
When we moved in to the temp room, the door was missing a peephole (however, the hole was there), our fridge would not make ice, and our washing machine did not work. We submitted maintenance requests for all of these items the day after we moved in. 6 days after moving in, the apartment lost hot water. We submitted a maintenance request that same day in hopes of a quick resolution. We did not hear anything back for 3 days. My roommate and I went to the front desk for clarification as to when this would be solved. We were told they would contact a manager and relay the information. My roommate received a text that day that stated the hot water would be fixed within 2 days. 5 days after losing hot water, it was fixed by a contractor who brought 2 plumbers from the unfinished Building 2. The peephole and fridge were also fixed.
After a 2-week-long conversation with the building manager, my washing machine is supposed to be fixed today (7 weeks after moving in) and a $50 concession has been granted for all of my trouble thus far. It seems like a joke. Every single issue that I have had has been my problem, as none of the issues have been resolved without my direct, persistent intervention. I wonder if I will actually move into the apartment I signed for this month or if I will remain in a temporary room.
I think in maybe a year or so Junction49 will be better (and I really want to like it), but right now I cannot recommend leasing here. My experience with the (lack of) amenities and extended communication time with staff have only exacerbated the frustrating situation. My experience has reflected very poorly on Cardinal Group. I intend to amend this review over time.

If you get the chance, please stop by the office so we can discuss these urgent matters face-to-face. Lastly, regarding the ongoing construction of amenities and communal spaces - this is something we're working passionately towards completion. Nevertheless, these aspects should never compromise open communication. Please note that management is taking these matters seriously, aiming to ensure such instances don't occur again in the future for ANY resident. We'll strive harder to improve our service quality across the board ensuring a comfortable living experience here at Junction49. We hope that meeting with you will give you the reassurance you need to love where you live!
