Negative Experience
Property did not honor their “first come first serve” application policy. Very unhappy & disappointed in the service provided, and the lack of integrity/honor they complied with in regards to their policy. We paid for two application fees as well, totaling to $100. We were the first people to submit an application for the apartment, and pay the fee, and in less than 24 hours they rented the apartment from underneath us to someone else who applied after us.

I’m sorry for your distaste in the service you received. I’d like to add that we take pride in our customer service and always strive to treat everyone fairly. This is why we have policies— to assure everyone... is treated the same, consistently. With the application process, you are correct— apartments are assigned on a first come, first serve basis, depending on the order of applications received. A completed application consists of: completed application with the information from the individual who plans to occupy the apartment, completed guarantor application (if needed), and the paid application fee. In your case, we were still awaiting your completed application, and someone submitted theirs prior to us receiving yours. You were contacted to let you know the apartment had been rented, and when you submitted your application after the fact, I even agreed to refund you that application fee.
I’m sorry you feel we lack integrity, however we feel it would not be right for us to go against our policy and provide you special treatment and not someone else.
