Autumn Oaks Apartments

I had a very unpleasant experience with the management. As a potential tenant, I found the assistant manager to be very rude. When I entered the office, she didn't greet me and when I asked if she was the manager, she responded rudely. I had visited the apartments several times during business hours, but the manager was never in the office, despite the posted office hours. When I inquired about the management's office hours, I was told that they take lunch breaks at different times, which didn't... seem accurate based on my previous visits. I also left a message and called the management's main office, but received no response. Residents have mentioned that the staff is hardly ever present and that they are rude, which I also experienced. I've heard that people quit frequently, and after my experience, I can understand why. My overall experience was awful, and it left me feeling almost in tears. I can't help but feel sorry for the residents who have to deal with such treatment. Lee mas

Apartments are big and nice, but management is very POOR right now. Work orders put in does not get fixed in timely order or not at all. When you call no one ever answer the office phone. When you call the management company Intermark in South Carolina they never return phone calls. You can leave 100 messages and they will not return phone calls. Some have work orders over a year old that has yes to be fixed. They allow tenants to leave trash everywhere. With Good management this place would be... very nice Lee mas

Autumn Oaks used to be an ideal place to live when Miss Ann was the manager. This place is becoming a dump!

Idk where to start but I've been living here 2 yrs. New mgmt took over a year ago. Since then the apt manager Carissa is not screening applicants as they should be. Drug dealers and others are making this place not the place for families. Esp at night when no one is in the office. Loud music, groups of ppl gathered outside the apts being loud, headlights shining through your windows for a long period of time, traffic all times of the night and early mornings and inconsiderate of others. The list... goes on and on. Even though you nicely ask them to quieten down a Lil. Then they are wanting to cuss you out and start an argument. When you go to the office to address any problems they say they will take care of it but don't do nothing!!
Some info abt neighbors, of u don't have to live in an apt don't unless you want to think your at the zoo with herds of elephants and rhinoceros above ur head! The walls are super thin, u can hear every single noise there is to here. Esp if u work at night and need to sleep during the day. Also the neighbors are quite deceitful always trying to get others in trouble for petty things trying to kick ppl out.
I read other websites abt this property and there was none that had reviews. So I was very happy to see this one to where I could write one and will be sure to tell others ard me. I also seen where this is a low income community as well. This explains a lot with some of the tenants that do and act the way they do. Not being ugly I just know a few came from housing or the projects and brought there drama with them.
Maintenance however u couldn't ask for anyone better. You are better off finding him to let him know what's wrong and get it immediately fixed than go to the office. They tend to forget. He is adoment doing his job. Prior to him with old mgmt and half the yr with the new mgmt all time maintenance men were worthless!

Looks and ppl can be dsecieving that's for sure. Our community looks nice on the outside, bcut it's the ones in the inside .that will fool you. .. Oqfhflice empliyeyesh and few tenants as well.
I WILL be MOVING OUT when my lease runs out!!!!!!! Lee mas
