Horrible office staff
My husband is going active duty at the end of July and we will be moving at the end of August. We won’t have an LES until right before we leave our current residence. I was told by office staff that a copy of his orders would suffice, as it acted as an offer letter. With our current income as it stands, we don’t meet income requirements but I was assured that we would be ok. After receiving and email from the income verification system that we didn’t meet requirements, I called the office to... make sure they knew our situation. I was then told by another person that we would either need an LES or email from his CO proving income. If they had bothered to tell us that in the first place, it would have been fine. However, the fact that they told us this after knowing our situation and submitting an application that they knew they couldn’t approve without an LES, we asked ourselves “if they can’t communicate effectively with prospective clients, how do they treat current clients?” We decided we didn’t want to find out within 20 minutes, had been approved for, as it turns out, a nicer apartment for less money and better management.
