Dishonest and problematic
We rented from Chateau from July 2019 to April 2021. A few issues:
1. They showed us a unit with a walk-in closet (the Catalina floor plan), sent us emails verifying the floor plan, but only after we moved halfway across the country did we discover that our unit had changed. No walk-in closet, same price, zero willingness to rectify the problem.
2. The unit we moved into had cockroaches, which were actively being treated by a pest company. Chateau failed to disclose the issue and now states... that "they didn't want to add to a stressful situation." Roaches are bad enough, but when you don't tell your incoming tenants about an issue, it demonstrates that you don't care.

I know we had previously spoken about the issues you guys had during your move-in and stay with us here but wanted to again apologize for not living up to your expectations of us here. We pride ourselves in our customer service. We've been... voted best in Lincoln for a number of years in a row so I'm sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to prove that to you guys.
