do yourself a favor and never live here
I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 years, and then a townhouse for 1 year.
while it “looks nice” everything is the lowest quality. The carpet is so thin that the spikes that hold it down stick out on the edges, the paint is so cheap that it scuffs even if you lightly graze it, the floors have holes on the edges where it’s not properly filled, and the grout in all of the bathrooms is refilled without cleaning leaving it yellow and falling apart. the maintenance guys will gaslight you... consistently into thinking that there’s nothing wrong or that there’s nothing they can do because that’s “just the way it is”- the mold that was in our washing machine when moving into a townhouse or how the townhouse has such horrible air circulation, that the top floor needs its own air conditioning, or how there were multiple bug problems (ants, house centipedes, bugs that are attracted by moisture, and lantern bugs because the windows weren’t properly insulated). and how you will only have 15 minutes of hot water when taking a shower, absolutely no where to lock your bike because you can’t keep it on your balcony/porch (along with a huge list of other things) and they only have 2/3 bike racks for the entire complex.
during the summers you can’t have any guests at the pool for the barely 3 months it’s open and the sauna will be broken 1/2 the time you try to use it.
you will hear every single neighbor above, below, and to the sides of you, especially if they have a dog or kids.
and if you’re a woman, i absolutely do not feel safe walking around this complex or outside of it as there are consistently sketchy men driving through and walking on Cliffwood Ave.
and finally- be prepared to pay an additional $500-$700 on top of the rent each month for simple cable/internet, gas, electric, amenities, water, gas, and sewer.
