Poor New Management Company
There are a lot of things I know to overlook and be patient with. If I have a minor maintenance request I don’t expect it to be handled quickly. However, when I have gushing water coming down from the neighbor every time they shower and the on-call maintenance tech doesn’t want to come out until the next day, that’s absurd… and worse when said maintenance tech does not resolve the issue and waits for the building super to come back, that is even more absurd. To have an open work order regarding... gushing water damaging property for 5 days is insane.
On top of this, we had issues with our machines. They were not working for a near month. I had $150 in the laundry card that I could not use because of this. They finally fixed the machines. Several weeks later they also inform us that they were replacing the machines after fixing them. I thought that is great, except they took them out immediately, so we had a weekend without machines… fine, I could deal. It was just more poorly communicated information. The norm with this company. Finally, they install the new machines… and they do not accept our laundry cards. Again, no details were provided about this. When I reached out to management they said they don’t handle those (the previous management company they purchased did resolve issues with the cards or the machines directly) and to reach out to the laundry company. The laundry company said that the management company is responsible. So here I am with $150 in laundry cards and I am unable to use them. There is no longer response from management.
Finally, I reached out in October for details on my renewal which was coming up on 12/31/21. I was told it was too early and they would reach out in November. Ok. Mid-November comes around, and I still did not hear back. Per my lease, I am supposed to have a 45-day notice regarding my renewal rate increase. I am also supposed to provide them with a 30-day notice if I intend to leave. Neither of which I could do since I can’t communicate with them. They will not respond to the forms I submit through their online portal. There is no direct email. I have left voicemails as recently as this week and nothing. I am set to pay my January rent this week, and I have no details on my new lease. And honestly, the only reason I am putting this review out there is that I can’t document my attempts in any other way as they refuse to give me details as to how to resolve my issues.

As you know, we have recently purchased this community and have many projects underway and planned for the upcoming moths. We are certain once we have the... opportunity to correct and improve the Community to our standards where everyone will be proud to call it home!
