Broadway Towers Apartamentos

I lived in this building for 2 years. There are roaches and mice. The exterminator that comes in very rarely only makes it worse. You will never get heat no matter how much you complain. I had to buy heaters and keep my oven lit to stay warm.

This bldg. has been reduced to living in a third world country, the superintendent is not qualified to be in charge of maintaining this property, the maintenance worker is also not qualified, there's a language barrier, the hallways are filthy, garbage all over the outside entrance to the back of the bldg., roaches have infested the bldg, the elevators are broken and out of service most of the time, and mice have taken over the bldg, this bldg will probably be condemned in a couple of years the... way things are going. Parking garage doors are broken all the time and there's no security in and out of the bldg.
The rooms are a nice size,and good closet spaces,heat,hot water and cooking gas is provided which are a plus. Too bad this use to be a GEM in the city of Paterson and now it's been reduce to a dilapidated bldg. Lee mas

I have been here for several years and have this to say. The rent is decent but goes up every year. The first time they did it illegally and I consulted an attorney who explained this to me. They did not honor a verbal agreement which was the resolution to this problem as well as recorded for proof if ever needed. Besides that, the pros are: heat, hot water and cooking gas included. Temperature well maintained. Clean building. Superintendent lives in building. Clean and maintained grounds though... not much but sidewalks and driveways to maintain. Parking available at extra cost. Mostly quiet building. Major buses stop at front door including busses to NYC and local bus and train stations. Main rd. and close to major highways and within blocks of 24 hr. stores and food. Laundry on premises. Cons: Promised 24 hour security guard and secured building as well as enclosed garages but not delivered. Security is an old irritable man who is never around and only at his post every now and again. Doors are constantly left open and management refuses to maintain , upgrade or restore. Garage doors constantly breakdown due to CHEAP install and maintenance. Sometimes months go by with out repair even in blizzard season. Hall doors and some residents doors constantly slammed due to lack of enforcement as well as failure to install door closers. Elevators poorly maintained and need restoration and/or modernization. Laundry uses highly inefficient machines and not enough machines for demand. Also, no cameras in common or necessary areas to prevent further damage or indecent behavior but yet cameras to cover garage entrances and front outer entrance. Lee mas
