Our experience with Seneca / Christopher Homes / Mark Taylor has been extremely disappointing and frustrating due to significant and ongoing issues with the property management and maintenance.
Upon moving into the property at 11020 Socrates Ridge St, Las Vegas, NV, we encountered numerous problems that were either inadequately addressed or completely ignored:
HVAC System Failure: The HVAC system failed during the peak of summer, leaving us without air conditioning for an extended period.... Despite multiple service requests and complaints, the system remained non-functional for weeks, posing serious health risks, particularly for my pregnant partner.
Smart Home System: The Brilliant smart home system was inoperable from the start. We were informed that the company responsible for this system was out of business, and no alternative solutions or repairs were provided, leaving us without the promised smart home features.
Pest Infestations: We experienced recurring pest infestations, which were not promptly or effectively addressed, compromising the cleanliness and health standards of the property.
Security Concerns: A non-functional sliding door lock was reported but not repaired in a timely manner, compromising the security of our home.
Poor Communication: Repeated attempts to communicate with property management about these issues were met with delays and unfulfilled promises of resolution. Requests to speak with higher-level management were ignored or significantly delayed.
Unfulfilled Promises: The community pool, advertised as a key amenity, was not completed by the promised date, and the landscaping was poorly maintained, further detracting from the property's appeal.
Overall, the management's failure to maintain the property in a habitable condition and their lack of responsiveness to serious maintenance issues have significantly impacted our quality of life. We cannot recommend Seneca / Christopher Homes / Mark Taylor to anyone seeking a reliable and professionally managed rental property.
