Siegel Suites MLK Apartamentos

Current resident since January. In a situation and was forced to live here. It is Seigal Suites so I didn't expect much. It was okay at first. The MLK location was one of the more decent of the rest that I looked at. The office personnel are polite overall.
The apartments are run-down, cabinets broken and have a stench, carpet is stained and smells bad, there were many roaches when I first moved in even during the day...took me about 3 weeks to get rid of them. I'm a smoker and smoke outside,... I hate smoke indoors. If you stay here be prepared to be SUFFOCATED with WEED smoke in your apartment CONSTANTLY. I live upstairs and the way the very old walls/cabinets (rotting wood and BIG HOLES) are here, the weed smoke comes directly in your apartment. Not good for the children. These ppl don't have to work and stay home smoking blunts ALL DAY/NIGHT. All of my belongings smell of weed, I went to work and got drug tested for the odor that was on me, I was livid.
Also the normal DV, yelling, shootings, and police ... I was planning to stay for a while and expected to deal with the usual things you hear about at Suites, but the WEED smoke I just CANNOT...it is horrible. Looking for another apartment ASAP! Lee mas

I know not to expect amazing service, granite countertops, squeaky clean...anything, when renting a place at a property owned by a big company. But, since moving here, rental prices have skyrocketed, more fees have been added, necessary repairs are left half finished, the bug problem is gross and relentless, the walls are thin - forget peace and quiet or rest if you have upstairs neighbors - etc. Siegel Suites, you somehow managed to fall short of my low expectations; if your goal is to take... advantage of financially vulnerable people and then squeeze whatever you can out of them for a substandard living space, congratulations - mission accomplished. Absolutely the worst experience of my life living in this place. I moved my furniture in to just having to throw it all out due to bed bugs. Lost over $2000 worth of furniture. Management, ROSE AND GINA, are a bunch of liars and can not be trusted. BUGS, BUGS, BUGS! ROACHES, BED BUGS, JUST NASTY! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE!

The apt needs a lot of work bedroom ceiling leaks when it rains bugs have invaded and it is basically unliveable and it needs a total rehab project 100 percent make over! New appliances and carpet are badly needed ed! Sorry if words may get jumbled bad bad cellphone. Thank you all for reading and caring
