adco property in Cheektowaga, Ny
I've lived in my apartment in Cheektowaga, NY for about 3 years now and I plan to be there for another 2 years. The apartment complex is great! Each building has 4 apartments and a basement with very good sized storage units and quarter washing machines. The apartments are all very similar in layout; 826 sq feet provides 2 bedrooms (one VERY generous master with 2 full size closets and an average spare bedroom with 1 standard closet) 1 bathroom (standard size)with a large linen closet, a very... good size kitchen with plenty of room for a dining room table, a good sized living room with another closet and a walk-out patio big enough to fit a patio furniture set comfortably. The complex allows pets; cats and dogs under 20lbs are $20 per month plus a one time deposit. Cage animals (like hampsters or rabbits) and fish in tanks less than 20 gallons are free!
The property is pretty large with tons of availale parking! Each apartment gets one assigned car port (its like a garage without a door). Let me just say, car ports are WONDERFUL! They keep my car cool in the summer, dry in the rain and I don't need to dust off snow in the winter! The apartment also has a pool. Its open whenever there is a lifeguard on duty. Guests are allowed which is great, too.
I have lived in the Losson garden apatments for 3 years with my husband. We are friends with all our neighbors in our building and many other people in the complex! Everyone is so friendly! Rent is reasonable; considering everything thats included (for us water and heat is included but there are some other tenants who pay for heat- but they might pay less in rent so I'm not sure ow that works.) My husband and I pay $830 per month; but the rent does have a tendency to rise by $5-$10 annually.
The maintenance crew is great- they seem to always be on point. They keep the hallways freshly painted and vacuumed year round, they keep the landscaping looking great and they do a great job staying ontop of the snow removal. Any time we need anything, they respond quickly and polietly. If they need to enter our apartment when we aren't home, they ALWAYS call first for approval and leave invoices of work/the reason for their visit. The property manager, Patty, is VERY nice; as long as you respect her apartments. She is a great lady.
Losson rd can get very busy during rush hour times like 8am and 5pm. But its to be expected. The enterance to the thruway is close and extremely convienient. Wegmans and Target nearby.
