The Meadows Apartment Homes

At first, I was excited to live here because of the views and neighborhood. However, my experience has been disappointing.

Shortly after moving in, I caught a mouse in my apartment and informed management. They apologized and said they fixed it, but I saw another one later, proving the issue wasn’t resolved. The heating system also had recurring problems during the cold winter, making it very uncomfortable.

Despite leaving my unit cleaner than I received it, I was charged $256 for cleaning... fees and $69.71 for unexplained service fees after moving out.

While the location is nice, I cannot recommend this place due to poor maintenance, pest issues, and unfair security deposit deductions. Be aware that you may face unexpected charges after moving out. Lee mas

If you can look past the terrible maintenance crew and condescending office staff, then it’s one of the better options to live in Syracuse. Location is better than most and apartments are decently sized for what you’re paying. The amenities fee is a joke because the pool and the gym, the two main amenities they advertise and offer, and never open.

Dont do it. Do not move here if you are able to find somewhere else. The office staff over the years is awful, unprofessional and scammers. They are liars and misplace your paperwork and money orders and blame you. They charge for every little thing they can find during move out so it can equal your deposit. SAVE EVERYTHING and make sure you have your own proof. I had black mold growing in my shower I was told it's water build up that also grows in the toilet. I asked them where's the papers... stating they tested the mold I was told thats my job and based off they exsperience being maintenance and a manager they know what it looks like lol lol big joke. Maintenance does absoulouty nothing. I had a work order in since November and it didn't get checked until Feburary after I had to state im recording conversations and taking pictures as well as tell them im moving out. Then mysteriously they found time to take a look. Which didnt matter because i still moved me and my kids out of there. Save yourself the headache and just move elsewhere it's not worth it. Lee mas

Property manager doesn’t do she’s job at all. Very rude unprofessional person. Plowing snow 3 days after snow fall. Laundry very dirty. Never plowing the snow to the garbage dumpsters

My stay at the Meadows has been remarkably comfortable and ergonomic. The location is no more than 15 minutes from any big-box store or the downtown area, and the community itself is friendly and quiet despite its proximity to a college. Management is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. My work orders were taken care of within 48 hours. For as much snow as Syracuse gets, roads in the apartment complex were consistently plowed, and the steps to my apartment were always salted. Units... are cozy, spacious, and rented at very reasonable rates. The Meadows and Morgan Property Management have set a high bar for my next landlord to meet.
