Moldy! Negligent property management!! Stay away!!!
My partner and I lived at Verandas North and lost so many possessions and got sick from the mold in the apartment. It was on the windowsills and walls, was dripping from the ceiling, and it stained the carpet. One of our bedroom walls was soft and bowed in when touched. It was such a strain on our physical and mental health that we decided to move out early. They charged us a lease termination fee WHEN WE WERE LIVING IN MOLD and charged us an additional fee when we couldn’t clean it because... their maintenance team gave it a wipe down but disrupted spores, making it unsafe for us to be there. The problem is the building and they won’t fix it. Additionally, living there is so loud. We were always hearing our neighbors walk around, TVs from other apartments and the FIGHTS people got into. Want to cook a meal? Be sure to call the fire department first when your stove inevitably sets off the fire alarm! Also, the amenity fee is for what amenities? There aren’t any. No gym (unless you feel like lifting some weights right next to the property manager), no dog park, no pool, no amenities. They will also try to make you leaving there hell, and trust me, it won’t take long til you’ll want to leave.
