Concerns Regarding Living Experience at Lift Apartments
I have been a resident of Lift Apartments since September and feel it is important to share both the positive and negative aspects of my experience.
Positives:
- The front office staff is friendly and approachable.
- The custodial and maintenance teams are exceptional—always prompt, helpful, and courteous.
- The complex offers a comfortable area for dogs, which is a great convenience for pet owners.
Negatives:
- There have been ongoing disruptions from a group playing music so loudly near... the pool that it rattles the dishes in any unti near the pool. This occurs multiple times a week, making it difficult to focus or relax.
- The garage doors have been left open on multiple occasions, compromising security.
- The key fob entry system to the ground level of the building on two doors are frequently broken, allowing individuals to enter without needing a fob, raising concerns about the safety of the building.
- Over the past month, there have been multiple incidents of car break-ins in the parking garage.
- There have been several instances of pipe bursts, causing loud alarms from the water pressure system. These alarms last for extended periods (up to 20 minutes or more) and can occur at any time of the day or night. There appears to be no local way to stop the alarm once it begins.
As a professional who works from home, I expected Lift Apartments to be a good fit. However, the lack of response from management to these concerns, particularly when shared on the community app (Cobu), has been disheartening and disappointing.
The lack of effective communication and follow-up on these issues has made it difficult to feel confident in the management’s ability to maintain a safe and quiet living environment.
Overall, while the staff is friendly and the maintenance team is excellent, these persistent issues with security, noise, and building maintenance significantly affect the quality of life here.
I hope the management will take these concerns more seriously and work to address them.
