Top Notch

Just settled into my new apartment and I have to say, the whole experience leading up to it was fantastic! The leasing team was amazing, always available to answer my questions and make everything stress-free. The place itself is not only pristine, but it also has this warm and inviting atmosphere that already feels like home. Sorting out the lease was surprisingly simple too, they really went out of their way to accommodate my preferences and the community here is incredibly welcoming. Overall,... I'm thrilled to call this place home!

It is just a money maker, you will find better options elsewhere. They profit on high turnover.

Paper thin walls and floors. Cheap poor construction you can make the floor shake buy just standing and waving your arm up and down and cheap smaller appliances (3 small burners & 1 large burner & smaller fridge.) I can actually hear my neighbors peeing in the toilet, downstairs neighbor snoring, not to mention the sex life of below and above. Worst is that the management does not enforce the rules. Barking dogs, at all hours of the day and night, dog poop not being scooped, flea infestation... outside in the summer. Walking down the sidewalk you will get attacked by so many fleas they will come in on your clothes. I don't even have pets.

It was marketed to me as a non-smoking property, but if you complain that your neighbor is outside your bedroom window smoking all day and night, coughing, and spitting and chain smoking, they won't do a thing. I complained for 2 years, even took video evidence. They did not want to do anything about it so I moved out.

Staff is rude and many family's have moved out due to rudeness of management. It is just a money maker and they will raise your rent at least $115 at each lease renewal even if it is only a 6 month lease.

They claim they clean the swimming pool daily but everyone who uses it gets a huge skin rash and you can see hair, & tons of white stuff floating in it. After the 1st year everyone I know stopped allowing their kids to swim in it because of harmful bacteria causing rashes. If you want to use the community BBQ by the pool they are always out of gas and blame you for wanting to use an amenity you pay for.

If you want to be close to the freeway, don't mind all your windows looking into another apartment with no privacy, can sleep through diesel trucks revving their engines for 30 minutes at 4 am outside your bedroom window, don't mind a rude staff, this place is for you. Don't expect any money back on your deposit even if you only live there a short time and leave it immaculate. This place profits with high turnover.

WORST EXPERIENCE.

I have been here for only about 2 months and have had to make 3 complains about my neighbors so far. The tenant up stairs makes so much noise by walking or stumping. The glasses/plates in my kitchen cabinets make sounds every time the up stairs tenant walks.
Raised couple of complaints and went and informed to leasing office. Every time they are simply closing the ticket without any proper resolution. It's UNBEARABLE noise. Not able to sit in living room. only second month and planning to move...
out. WORST EXPERIENCE.

Good for Thought

I am moved out of this CTL Management property. I was always on time with payments and we never made a fuss about all the issues in the property being that we were only planning for a one year stay.

However, we made multiple maintenance requests to fix our sliding door latch. The maintenance staff would make a repair and the door latch would act up a 1-2 days later. We lived in a downstairs unit and there was a perpetual mud patch that was disgusting. Landscapers avoided the mud patch and...
trash, leaves, etc. would gather in the muck.

The apartments feel cheap in almost every way: white walls with beige switch and socket plates, cheap slider doors, corroded sink fixtures, flimsy cabinetry, and the like. The walls were thin enough to hear the details of our neighbor’s sex life. We heard the entire family stomping around from 7am-10pm. We don’t hold anything against our neighbors. However, I asked the office staff if there was anything we could do and they said we could talk with our neighbors. The staff could not do anything to change the amount of noise. Most people I talked to in the apartments mentioned having the same issues.

Twice we have had issues with they’re payment app “Resident.” One time we were charged a double rent check which took more than one week for CTL to reimburse.

AT LONG LAST, we moved out and we’re expecting auto-pay to withdraw only the amount that we were prorated. Instead, we were charged the full cost of rent. I have spoken with the staff at the apartments, sent an email with necessary documents proving we were overcharged, and we have not been reimbursed. We are waiting and CTL Management owes us money.

The staff at this particular complex is very friendly, but they have their hands tied and have been unable to help. I was given the number to collections but calls go directly to a voicemail. I recommend that anyone looking at a CTL Managed property reconsider.

There are several comments in your review that we wished we were able... to improve during your stay. Our team follows up on each work order after it’s been closed out to ensure that the repair was completed to your satisfaction. If issues were not completely addressed, our policy is to reopen the work order for additional repairs. Your satisfaction with your home is important to our team.
Our team responds to noise concerns when reported, and addresses anything that violates our lease or policies. In a community living environment, some every day noises can travel between homes, but we offer our services for excessive commotion or disturbances during our quiet hours. During the day, residents can call us in the Leasing Office so we can try to provide an immediate response. For those experiencing noise disturbances after-hours, we provide a convenient courtesy patrol service that can provide a faster response to concerns.
Our Accounting Department is working to quickly rectify the overpayment set up through your automatic payment schedule, so please continue to work with our property manager to resolve this issue. If there are any further matters from your tenancy that you wish to discuss, we welcome you to share them with us in the Leasing Office. Though you are no longer with us, we wish you nothing but happiness in your new home.

Never choose this apartment

Please don't ever get into this apartment. The management very rude once you are in. The staff themselves do not know the rules and they will expect you to sign.

Totally unprofessional... If you are breaking lease , please have everything getting in written email though they hesitate to reply.

Once you are in the unit, you should be responsible for each and everything. They will not refund the security deposit. They will ask you to take rental insurance for the property too.

They want only...
