I will forever remember my apartment manager welcoming me home into my new place. After sharing a room with my then 8 year old son for three years at a friends house, we were more than ready to occupy our own space.
Imagine your manager asking you if you have everything you need to start out? Can you Imagine such a degree of care and compassion towards you?
Because of what former residents left behind, and to 'save' her workers a trip to the dump, I was blessed with furniture I needed and up... to that point didn't have.
That is my story of why I consider my apartment home. My son is entering middle school this year....we have been here a while. I plan on staying put.
Clean. Sometimes by late evening some of the residents (mostly kids I think) have left trash here and there. Come mid morning it is a clean. The grass is neatly manicured as are all of the trees and bushes.
There are kids everywhere! For me, it is great. They ride bikes and scooters all over the place. There is a small playground for the little tikes. There is a full basketball court for the bigger tikes.
Curfew for noise is ten. And with the exception of a few teens who love to hear their own voices once in a while, it is quiet by ten. Don't get me wrong, it isn't noisy here whatsoever, but to have a curfew in place is smart; don't you think?
Schools. There are two elementary schools very close by. Both within walking distance. One of them, Kennedy Elementary, is a literal five minute walk.
There are two middle schools close by as well and one high school.
Keizer is a wonderful community. I love it here. It may not be for everyone, but I sure enjoy it and hope you check it out.
Respectfully,
One very happy single Mom
