Should be summit ridge super ok apartments
Where do I begin? The apartments themselves are pretty nice in that they have hardwood and washer/dryers in all the units. Also, while I’ve observed roach traps in the “community center”, I haven’t seen many pests in my apartment. However, be aware that there is very little ventilation and natural light in the one bedroom units as there are only two windows and one patio door.
The balconies/patios are a nice feature but they are almost unusable in the summer because the proximity to the... dumpsters causes dozens of flies to collect there and create a very disgusting experience.
Maintenance is very responsive but one maintenance man castigates me for things that are not lease violations and reminds me how fortunate I should feel to have expensive repairs made to my apartment. The last time I had a repair, no less than three times I was reminded how expensive that repair was. Another maintenance person told me in very graphic terms that he wanted an inappropriate relationship with me. Given that I have had experiences where these folks have keyed into my apartment without notice, I often feel uncomfortable.
The front office staff when I moved in initially was wonderful but they all quit basically at the same time. Now I wonder if the people working there are ok. They said grammatically incorrect, angry and confusing emails. One week we were advised to not leave doors open because of the racoons living in the dumpsters. The next week there was an angry, all CAPS email about how residents were throwing chicken bones into the courtyard. One wonders why they couldn’t take the logical step that this was the racoons plundering the garbage and leaving bones behind. I’ve also received a number of emails with angry, accusatory and frankly crazy content directed at me personally.
Do you want to receive a package? You’ll get it maybe 85% of the time. We’re all required to pay for shipment lockers but your packages won’t go there most of the time. Maybe they’ll just hang out in the mailroom, maybe they’ll be left outside a building (not necessarily yours) but you might not see it so holiday buying can be a bit of an expensive nightmare.
Expect to pay for the fitness center, even if you don’t use it. Except to pay for the single parking spot you get even though the torn up parking lot is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Expect your exorbitant rent to go up at least $100 a year.
I really don’t recommend living here if you have any other option.
