The Mason Apartamentos

This place has so many car break ins, beware and they choose to do nothing about it except send an email saying to hide your pearls. There are so many other communities that provide other services like: gated community, Night Guard, don't expect those luxuries here. Yet, you will pay more than the places that do offer those same features in the surrounding areas. The traffic is horrible in the morning, as it takes me almost 1 hour to get to the I26 exit which is only 2 miles away. You would... think my key fob would be programmed correctly upon my first day, but I haven't been able to use the gym in the almost 2 years I've been there. I will take my own trash, I don't need you to charge me $30 plus another $10 for the community trash. Really? So not worth it. They don't deserve the rents they are charging. I laughed from excitement to be leaving soon once they gave me the renewal letter. Never would I pay that much for that small apartment. God Bless Lee mas

Excessive fees. The apartments are beautiful, the area surrounding the community not so much. But the issue is the fees. They tried to make themselves seem comparable to other communities but I looked at 6 communities and The Mason is very excessive. Their pet fee is at least $100 more than anywhere else I looked and they do not offer a discount for the second pet ($750 fee for 2). They charge a $100 community use fee. Nobody else I looked at charges this. Also, instead of a refundable... security deposit they charge a nonrefundable $300.00. So right there they are fleecing people out of $400. I could pay it, but there is nothing I hate worse than feeling like I am being taken advantage and I certainly left here with a bad taste in my mouth. Lee mas

Great place for us after moving from Oregon. Maintenance staff and great and the reception team are always there to help! Wonderful swimming pool, great equipment in the gym and spacious apartments. It's been the perfect transition for us to life in South Carolina!

The apartment is very nice & the buildings and landscape are always kept in amazing condition! I would recommend The Mason to anyone looking for a nice, friendly apartment community

They have beautiful apartments and a picturesque pool area. The gym has all of the common equipment one might use and also a really cool smart mirror that displays workouts. The leasing office ladies are always so kind and helpful. Every week we have different food trucks that come to the community. Overall, it is a lovely place to call home.
