MAA Rivers Walk Apartamentos

At Rivers Walk , they are constantly closing the pool. Never on a weekday but on the weekend. Totally ridiculous. Tenants bring glass to the pool , which is against the rules. Instead of fining them and evicting them, Rivers Walk closes it for “clean up”. I live near the pool and have never seen a clean up and draining take place. There are cameras , they could catch them immediately, but they choose to punish the many for
The few who feel entitled not to follow the rules.

They raised rent every year by a substantial amount. The rent from year 1 to year 3 was 700 - 800 dollars increase which is crazy. They kept a lot of money on moving out (carpet cleaning, de-odorizing removing food odors and many things that I have not had to face at any other apartment complex I have lived at before). The moving out cost was about 200 to 300 dollars which is steep comparing moving out cost from other apartments I have lived at (0 to 90 dollars). Apartments were tiny. A lot of... dogs there as it is pet friendly. I am allergic to dogs and did not realize that it is pet friendly. Overall very overpriced for what it is. Had a balcony but did not use it due to mosquitos/ bugs and overgrown trees with branches hanging in my balcony. Lee mas

Management is horrible!!!!!!!!! Do not live here!!!! Overpriced, rude office staff, and enormous rent increases for extremely small spaces.

We have been living at Rivers Walk for 3 months and have had a wonderful expereince. The location is so convenient, the staff has been available whenever needed and the complex is perfect for the two of us. We love the pool and walks in the early morning/evening. After living downtown for 2 years, we are so pleased with the space after moving to the other side of the bridge.

These apartments are put together incredibly low grade. The quality of the appliances are suitable for a dorm room not a “luxury apartment”. They are tiny.

You can hear EVERYTHING in all surrounding apartments. I can hear the neighbor above’s cell phone vibrate each morning when the alarm goes off. Foot steps above make the walls shake. No exaggeration.

Parking is an absolute joke. Each residents car is issued a generic parking sticker. There’s no enforcement for non residents parking in... residents spots. They also do not enforce handicapped spaces and there are always cars parked illegally.

That Does not leave enough spaces for residents. The office staff suggests to park in a far off auxiliary lot that takes you through several dark and poorly lit parking lots at night to get to your apartment. It’s not safe. Should you park on a curb close to your actual apartment if it’s raining or you have bags, they will tow you.

Finally, the office staff is ever rotating. The staff that has endured the longest is beyond rude and unprofessional. They are discourteous. No one in the front office has the tenants best interest ever.

I strongly recommend against these apartments even short term. Lee mas
