Remodeled apartments are nice but…

I lived there for a year and wasn’t that bad. When the new mgmt. company took over I had a few issues resolved, but I decided to move anyway. They calculated my last months rent wrong. I talked to them and contacted them by phone and email. No one responded or returned my calls.

BEWARE!!

Poor doesn’t work!
Appliances don’t work!
Barely any maintenance workers!
Outrageous rental prices!
Management expects rent on time but NOTHING IS BEING FIXED!

Currently searching for somewhere else and absolutely NOT recommend anyone living here.

aware, Residences at Port Royal has recently undergone a change in ownership and management from the previous company formerly Oak Tree Village, and we have taken over the property with a firm dedication to improving the overall resident experience. We acknowledge the past failures in maintenance requests under the previous management. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you. Rest assured, we are implementing robust measures to ensure that all maintenance requests are promptly addressed and resolved to the satisfaction of our residents. We currently have a maintenance team of two technicians and an in-house plumber and have developed great relationships with local vendors to quickly address issues that exceed our capabilities.
One such initiative is the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to proactively address issues such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing concerns that may have been previously overlooked. These measures are aimed at not only resolving existing issues but also preventing future ones, thus ensuring a higher standard of living for our residents.
We truly value your residency at Residences at Port Royal and are committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable living environment. If you have any further concerns or suggestions or maintenance needs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to strive for excellence.

The pool is broke. There is no fitness center. There is no clubhouse. There is no dog park. I know this because we live here.

As you may be...
aware, Residences at Port Royal has recently undergone a change in ownership and management from the previous company formerly Oak Tree Village, and we have taken over the property with a firm dedication to improving the overall resident experience. We understand your disappointment regarding the current state of amenities due to the lack of attention by previous management, and we want to assure you that plans are already in motion to enhance and introduce new amenities for our residents to enjoy, some of which have already been completed. We have started the process in securing a DHEC approved pool construction company to bring the pool back to SC DHEC standards so that this wonderful amenity can be used once again. The current dog park located near the maintenance shed is going to be overhauled in the next 30-60 days with all new play features for our four-legged friends to enjoy. Renovations on the current office is beginning in May and will be the future clubhouse that will in fact house a fitness center and resident lounge.
We truly value your residency at Residences at Port Royal and are committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable living environment.
