Pointe West Apartments

Poor quality apartment charges as if they are fancy. The people they hire are rude and they give incorrect information out when I have made inquiries. Not worth it.

Absolutely disgusting apartment complex! Rent is expensive! There are bugs/insects galore. The crews they hired ONLY comes and does the trash in the laundry room. They do not scrub, vacuum, or clean common areas. The washing machine has black mold, soap scum. They dryer does not dry the clothes properly. The walls definitely need washed too. They do not get the weeds by the sidewalks or the garages and it makes the apartments look cheap. I see tenants peering into my windows and on my balcony.... The tenants smoke cigarettes by the trash on the property and place the butts into the communal trash bin. The common areas are used as storage from other tenants. The maintenance man Dale J. always asks me to write a good review on him when he comes to my apartment. Getting real tired on him asking for a good review. I am so thankful my lease is ending so I can get out of here! Lee mas

They no longer clean the apartment’s “community area” in the complex’s. Laundry is a little expensive but for “convenience“ it’s “cheap”. Not to mention, others from other complex’s utilize our washer and dryer in my building (each has their own to share). Not sure if the water, sewage, and trash bill will increase. Washer has mold in the seal and needs cleaning. Dryer, I am positive has lint buildup that may cause a fire in the future. The plumbing isn’t the greatest. That definitely needs... updated in each apartment complex. Also, snow removal is the worst! They barely plow and it would be nice to know where the lines are for parking in the winter time. Bugs! (Ants, spiders, box elder bugs, etc..) Yuck! They are in my light fixtures and apartment. They are starting to stain the fixtures. I have to clean them so often it is sickening. They painted over hair and other foreign objects on the wall and called it “remodeled”. Look behind the appliances, they missed painting behind there (I know because I deep clean my apartment). Not to mention the paint is chipping. There is black mold in the closet and on the window seal/ceiling. (They have done multiple inspections the many years I have lived here and they continue to ignore or overlooked it.) The apartments collect so much dust. If you have asthma, don’t rent here. Neighbors are cool, they keep to themselves. Same as property management so that’s cool too #introvert. I really enjoy not having to pay for full utilities, so that’s a bonus. However, rent does increase each year. They state it’s due to the price increase around our complex. News flash! They are houses we live by and they actually remodeled their homes. Oh! I forgot they have a pool. That’s cool too until they decide they are not going to clean it and that collects mold. Also, past couple of years they closed the hot tub. Yeah, I know because of the virus. However, I think with all the other restrictions the company posts (do this, don’t do that), they would restrict access to 15 min per household or something stupid like that. To the management. I recommend you take notes on the ratings and don’t come back with “we pride ourselves in… and contact us”. Just take the initiative, and make these improvements to our home based on your renters concerns. One might ask why don’t I just leave or let the management know? #introvert. Lee mas

I love pointe west. I’ve lived here nearly a year now. There isn’t many amenities but it’s quiet and very beautiful here. Management has been good thus far.

For the per month cost many other complexes have a gym and on site office or game room, Pointe West does not. The new property manager is rude and not helpful. Community spaces are lack luster and generally unkempt
