Eh, you could do better.
The people in the office aren't bad. But always remember that they are there to sell the place to you. The gate code never works. Not the past couple of months. In the beginning they said they would have someone come out and look at it and maybe they did because it would work for a few days but that was it. Seems like they stopped trying to have it fixed. The maintenance crew is amazing. Helpful and friendly. Doing their job. Something that makes me raise an eyebrow is how many emails they like... to send out. For everything. Parked wrong? Email. Rent? Email. Rent again? Email. Any activity they don't like? Email. They're community wide emails. The way the emails are typed feels like they're scolding you. Just a few ago, we got an email about a "mandatory" amenity or utility reimbursement fee that they will now charge some residents because they weren't being charged that. Instead of letting the select few know privately, now everyone knows certain people will be charged more. Seems unprofessional. Unprofessional like the email they sent out to a certain resident about his rent but sent it to everyone instead. Pests? Not in my apartment, to be honest. Nothing like roaches. Thank goodness, considering I'm allergic. You see the rare ant or stink bug from the outside. I have seen silverfish in the bathroom but not enough for me to worry. Only 2. Can deal with that. Some neighbors are friendly. Some aren't. But that's just people in general. We only had an issue with 1 neighbor and that was because they forgot this was apartment living and noise happens. Especially when you have children. To be honest, maybe you'll like this place. Maybe you won't. I will say you can find better for the amount you'll be paying. They updated the kitchen, and some bathroom stuff and want to charge like crazy now and call it "premium." It's not premium to want nice stuff in the place you will call home. I believe you can do better and I for one, cannot wait until my lease is done so I can move.
