When I called to get information on this property, the customer service is what won me over. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If I left messages, they called back or they have the text option which is really cool as well. So glad I made the decision to make Preston Columbia my home.

I’m confused to read some of the reviews. From my first interaction I’ve have nothing but a great experience. They bend over backwards to accommodate us. I do hear what a nightmare the previous owner and management team was but it’s hard to imagine. The new team must have been handed a nightmare. Kudos to them for turning it around.

After reading several reviews all over the internet, I find that the previous management must have been a sheer nightmare. The new team in place has been awesome to work with from the initial contact, touring the renovated grounds, to the actual move in process. Is this a new property, no. But the girls in the office make it a pleasure to communicate with and a joy to sit and visit. Oh yea...complimentary coffee and snacks!

Me and my fiancé have had the absolute worst experience with these apartments. The very first call we had with them (after calling and leaving numerous voicemails) stated that we would pay September 1st but we wouldn’t be able to move until September 20th. Two separate women both said that is fine and clarified everything. We then waited weeks for the lease after they said within 3 business days and that lease was finally given to us yesterday August 31st. I call this morning, again, clarifying... we won’t be there until the 20th which was followed with confirmation from one of the workers. They said all we needed was electric and gas which we immediately sent over once we got it. They then told us we had to move in today. We already got insurance, paid the deposit, and got gas. We packed up our whole lives to travel half way across the country. We put our notice in at work and everything and they tell us 2 hours after confirming everything is ok that the apartment is NO LONGER OURS. You can’t treat human beings like this. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and they gave us less than a day to do everything after NEVER sending over the lease for weeks. Anyone reading this PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not even give these people a second of your time. You can’t treat humans like this. Our jobs are gone, we have nowhere to live. Absolutely DISGUSTING.
