Stonegate Apartments

My wife and I toured this community before signing a lease and it seemed very nice, clean apartments with manicured landscaping. Apparently we didn't look closely enough. The apartment moved into was in terrible condition: pet hair EVERYWHERE, dirty carpet and appliances, dingy fixtures. No one in this community cleans up after their dog and management does nothing to enforce it, so it feels like the landscaped areas have more dog poop than grass much of the time. My wife and I also no longer... feel safe walking our dog here because so many dogs are off leash and aggressive (against the rules but another rule that management doesn't enforce).

In the end, my wife and I felt lied to by this community and are now trapped in a yearlong lease. Lee mas

When I moved out of these apartments, I did a walk thru with property manager and left a forwarding address. Never heard anything from them until I get a call from collections 8 months later. Very unprofessional. Look elsewhere if you are looking for an apartment!

These apartments are indeed self-rating! I agree with the lady who reviewed earlier this year with that comment. The pool sucks, there is dog poop everywhere, overpriced for the run down interior of the apartments, and there's never any parking. The company doesn't know what they are doing. And don't even think of ever calling corporate because they don't care either.

I’m really not sure how this place has so many 5 star ratings, unless of course — they’re self rating. *insert eyeroll*

I’ll wait to give more details when I move but this place is NOT 5 star worthy. Maybe 2 stars.

Office staff is meh, kinda friendly - but not super professional nor helpful.

You can only have internet through the service provider of THEIR choice. For the... longest time, they made you sign up with Broadstar (they’re horrendous and also WTF is that?). It was like $88 for some low quality speed that was always spotty. Now you have to sign up with Suddenlink and I’m honestly surprised that there could be a service worse than Broadstar. The transition was horrible. They gave a few weeks notice to get switched over and then completely cut off the old service. That brings me to my first 48 hours without internet service and the installation process was awful. Here we are a few weeks later and again, we are without internet (fairly certain the entire complex this time). And instead of management being proactive and COMMUNICATING that this was a complex-wide issue... is spent 45 minutes on hold with suddenlink for them to tell me that.

And the pool is “shut down for maintenance” for the 24th time this summer.

Do yourself a favor and don’t live here. Lee mas

Absolutely in love with this property! I am looking forward to moving in asap. The girls in the office were so friendly and sweet and really helped in the application process and made it so easy. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is amazing. I can't wait...
