Don’t move here
Don’t even think about moving here. This is a classic Luxury apartment with 0 accountability. I feel bad for the administration because they have to deal with this corporate company. I can’t blame the team working downstairs because they can’t do much about these issues. Generally they are kind so the blame isn’t on Wes or Mary. This is on NRP group…. We moved here in early February to a very vacant building filled with dust and no amenities. First let’s start with the apartment. The luxury... vinyl scratches with the smallest movement, there were paint specs all over the dark flooring which makes the floor look permanently dirty. The patio still had construction pieces and nails all over. The walls are all thin. You can hear your neighbors farting in the bathroom and a light step upstairs rattles the room below. The apartment shakes like an earthquake occasionally… still don’t know what’s causing that. The windows are cheap and a light breeze sounds like a typhoon. On top of that the cabinets are all very tall and poorly designed for storage. One cabinet is almost impossible to access anything from and I’m tall. There was a homeless person living in a vacant unit due to the lack of security. And the space is not very well thought out…
Next the facilities. The gate that accesses the parking garage is often left wide open allowing anyone access to the cars and apparently our bikes as well. Our bike was stolen from our “secure bike storage”. The garbage/recycling chutes are regularly broken. The mail room was inactive for our first 2 months so all of our mail was either delayed or we could sort through all of our neighbors mail to find it. The gym and pool are still not done (one of our main reasons for choosing this place). The elevator is still not protected with a lock so people can still get into the building without a key….
This has been the most upsetting living accommodation to date and I’m eager for my lease to expire.
