Inwood Station Apartments

This is my first time living at [INWOOD STATION], and overall the experience has been very positive. The move-in process was smooth, and the staff made everything clear and easy to understand. The community feels safe and welcoming, and the amenities are well-kept. My apartment was clean upon move-in, and any small maintenance requests have been handled quickly and professionally.

As a first-time resident here, I appreciate the responsiveness of management and the overall comfort of the... property. It’s been a great start, and I’m looking forward to continuing my stay. Lee mas

The community is well kept and management is very attentive. Any work order or request is met within a few hours to a day and is very efficient.

We signed a 15 month lease and after living here for 6 months we moved out in the past 7 months there have been 10 vehicle break ins with multiple different vehicles each time. The amenities hardly ever work. The trash at the complex is always over flowing and the hallways and mail rooms reek of the smell of trash. There are homeless people always getting into the building I have caught multiple sleeping in the building. Security is basically non existent they have Security but they don't do... anything. I have lived at Inwood Station Apts for almost 3-years now. Here is my experience
POSITIVE:
1) good location, close to all that Dallas has to offer and especially the medical district (Parkland Hospital, etc)
2) The interiors of the apartments are very nice, quality materials, on-trend finish out & some of the floorplans offer a really nice big, bathroom
3) The staff is friendly

NEGATIVE:
1) Location - be sure 'not' to take an apartment close to the dumpsters or Dart Rail. The Garbage pickup is... usually on Tuesday morning at 3-4 am...yes no lie. Horrific noise of the dumpsters being empties and slammed on the concrete. I have complained for 3 years and management is yet to offer a solution
2) Management is at best "slow" ...they will reply to your request via email fairly quickly, but will say things like we are getting the hallway carpet cleaned this coming week. Then weeks pass and nothing happens. Follow up with them again and then it finally happens
3) I have lived in many apartments, but never lived in a complex where so many people come and go. The apt across from me, people move in, stay a month or 2 and move out. It is a constant revolving door. How this is permitted or allowed here don't ask me
4) So irritating ...no exaggeration here, there is an abandoned, wrecked car in the 1st visitor parking place. It has been there since March (yes 5 whole months), full of dust, broken out window and the management says they are working with the resident and the resident says the insurance company is addressing the issue. This car makes the complex look like a junk yard and is wasting valuable guest parking and the apartment manager is being totally unwilling to have the car removed/towed or the resident being told they have to do something with the car.

*Advice ..before you move here, please consider the location of the apt you are considering and the noise factor. Stay away from the dumpster area and the Dart Rail Lee mas

Could be fantastic but I drive an electric car.

Residential complex in a five mile radius that bills the resident for using the vehicle
charger. They charge $1 .25/kilowatt hour.
