Extremely Poor Management
I did not want to resort to this, but here I am. Management here is terrible. It was terrible when I lived here last year and hasn’t changed and is still terrible. I had numerous issues when I lived here. First, security issues that were never addressed properly. People were breaking into my car, and my mail box. All the complex offered to do was change my mail box locks, which the lock was being picked, so a lot of good that did. They have no type of security cameras and the gates are a joke.... People give out the gate code. I then had A/C issues and it started to leak into my bathroom ceiling and cause black mold to grow. I had to ask management multiple times to fix the issues and they told me there wasn’t black mold present, which was a lie. This is when I decided to pay to break my lease. Now almost a year later I apply to get an apartment and am being denied because of alleged month of rent I didn’t pay in the first few months I lived at this complex. I was told I had a debt in collections, again a lie. I called the collections agency and they have no account for me or my co-signer. I then call the new management to prove false claims have been made against my rental history and they are refusing to work with me on settling this. They are holding my rental history hostage until I pay in full on a false claim. I am going to end up homeless because I am not able to rent another place until we come to an agreement and they are completely unwilling to compromise even tho I have proved these claims are false. The management here is money hungry and cares nothing about people’s lively hood.
