Do not live here under any circumstances.
I lived at this apartment complex for 8 months in two different units. This review outlines the consistent issues I experienced that made this complex unlivable.
Both units were infested with cockroaches from day one. The infestation was not minor—droppings were present in every cabinet, and roaches were frequently visible on counters, walls, and even in the bedroom. The infestation was so extensive that I was unable to use the kitchen for cooking or food storage during my entire time living... there.
Water pressure in the shower was insufficient for proper hygiene. The bathroom ceiling also leaked, and the knobs in my shower were falling out of the wall. Though maintenance "repaired" these issues, the problems returned repeatedly.
The HVAC system is severely outdated and functionally inadequate. The building can only operate in either heating or cooling mode, not both. Heat is turned on in November and not switched back to cooling until April, regardless of outdoor temperatures. This means that during warm spring or fall days, especially in upper-floor units, indoor temperatures can become dangerously high with no way to cool the space. The central AC system itself is ineffective—I consistently experienced inaccurate thermostat readings and no actual cooling. Despite all of this, I was charged $145 per month for a system that did not function properly. There is no in-unit laundry. The shared laundry room was often inaccessible due to long-term closures. When open, multiple machines were out of order. Washers frequently flooded, soaking clothes and requiring three or more dryer cycles to dry a single load—at $2 per cycle.
The new unit had spider webs, live insects, and visible debris—such as other tenants’ hair—painted into the cabinets and walls. Floorboards were uneven and poorly installed. Management stated the unit had been cleaned before I moved in, but conditions clearly indicated otherwise. A strong, persistent odor resembling mold was also present.
Despite submitting my 60-day notice properly and vacating the unit on the exact 60th day, I am now being charged for six additional days of rent, and they have not refunded my pet deposit. A leasing agent acknowledged their internal errors and confirmed and proved that I was owed money. She stated it needed management approval and assured me it would be resolved. She has since failed to respond to all follow-up attempts.
I would not recommend living in this apartment complex under any circumstances.
