Renter Beware You'll Pay Big Time At Move out
Looking at the Reviews dating all the back to 2013 this Fee gauge at move out has been going on. The city inspector said we had one the best looking interiors in the entire complex so how did we owe almost $2k at move out???? Beware you will be charged all the fees it cost to make the apartment ready for the next tenant. At first site this complex appears to be ok & reasonable, outside of the disgusting smell of urine in the garage at move-in, but renter beware this property is located near 2... very busy hotels. There is constant noise and sirens going off, a lot of traffic, no extra visitor parking or for multiple cars. Theft of vehicles and delivery packages. Maintenance and City Inspectors constantly in and out of your apartment home. AC Units need to be updated unless you enjoy a $500 electric bill to survive the TX Heat. Neighbors refuse to keep their pets on a leash. Illegal activity going on all times of the night. The move in fees aren't as expensive as most complex, but be prepared to pay up at time of move out. You will be charged a lot of fees (connections fees, city fees, fee for professionally cleaning the carpet & repainting for the new tenant). We had rugs down in every room, so I'm sure the only carpet that had any kind of use was the carpet on the stairs in the entry way, in which my husband scrubbed by hand to make sure there were no stains. After cleaning for 2 days after moving out we learned there is no reprise for regular wear and tear, please do not hang anything or use the fireplace as you will be charged. $2K was what we were billed at move out after 1 yr. lease and we are professionals with no children very minimal living couple. It's a money grab on this 1980's property.
