Expensive, construction all around!

Background: I have lived here almost 2 years. Im a young professional.

Cons: Its an expensive place and there is construction all around usually going about 6 days a week. One time they were doing construction until midnight. I do not see an end in sight as they have multiple projects coming and currently have been working on one since i moved in about 2 years ago. If you want sleep, dont choose this place. Also, the package system is terrible. Its this room that you can get access to in order...
to pickup a package (luxor system). In theory, it is a good idea but the packages are all over the place and difficult to find your own. Also, things go missing pretty frequently. The pool is always crowded with other residents and loads of guest (does not seem there is a limit).

Pros: I will say the maintenance is quick and reliable, the staff is nice. The gym is big and nice too.

Would Not Recommend

Pros: gym
Cons: expensive prices. Cheaply built. There’s been construction across from Crawford Street for over a year now and it’s so loud. They start at 6:30 am and work on Saturday and Sundays as well so if you’re looking for an apartment with a balcony off Crawford St and/or you work from home.. I wouldn’t advise. There’s a train behind the complex that screeches when it’s braking. At first the noise didn’t bother me, but it definitely wears on you the longer you stay. Parking lot gets...
broken into often because it’s not secure, multiple catalytic converters have been stolen from cars. The property is poorly maintained, smells like dog pee and there’s trash everywhere on the streets. There’s dog poop everywhere because the property isn’t really dog friendly and people don’t pick up their dog’s poop. There used to be more places for dogs to go to the bathroom but all the surrounding land has been purchased for developing. There’s a dog park down the road but it’s not maintained well either. The package room is a big room that anyone who lives here can enter so I wouldn’t recommend using it for anything valuable as we’ve had multiple packages stolen. Would not recommend living here unless the prices dramatically decrease.

Cheap appliances, slow maintenance, poor management

Washer broke 5 times and has not been fixed yet. Parking is overly expensive and the gates don’t even work. Because of that I had to leave my car outside the building multiple times. Door system around the building is bad. Key doesn’t’ work many times. Trash system is horrible and impractical in the building. Have fun walking across the pool and thousands of feet until you get the dumpster. I recommend you look somewhere else :)

NOT pet friendly, poorly built and NOISY, shady management

Not pet friendly, noisy, and money pit with shady management.

This place is not dog friendly. They claim to have a dog park, but the “dog park” is a few blocks off premises and it’s red clay dirt with a fence, so your pet just gets so dirty. Secondly, we paid $15 a month plus a $300 non-refundable pet deposit. So over the course of our lease, $495 total for our dog to live there with us, and they charged us $500+ of damages. We have lived in multiple apartments and always got our deposit back...
in full so we were shocked. The worst part is if you raise concerns to management they just dismiss you. So you end up feeling pretty helpless. I’ve heard things about Weinstein properties but I didn’t realize it was this bad. We also had to move to a different unit a few weeks after moving in because of an issue on their end, and they did nothing to help pay for moving again and so we were out another few hundred dollars.

Also while it is a new building, it’s Built very poorly, walls are so thin normal walking and talking on the phone can be heard between walls. Totally understand part of being in an apartment, but this was exceptionally loud and had never experienced that before. We befriended multiple people in the building, and everyone we spoke with at some point had experienced some type of experience like ours, whether it was the noise or the unhelpful management that justifies nickel and dime-ing you.

Oh it also typically smells like weed and dog urine most days. Multiple cars got broken into even in the gated parking area. Also parking is terrible and oddly far from the majority of the apartments.
