Completely different apartment experience
First of all, when we had Robert and Chris as managers, this apartment was better and more personalized. They listened to residents from their heart.
My experience with this apartment went down the hill after 2 years of living at (AMLI) and 1 year (Aura 444). When it was Aura 444, it was well taken care of. I have
just spoken to a new manager and it was disappointing in many ways, unpleasant conversation with the current manager which made me feel I want to write the whole truth of living....
There are two elevators in B Building, one of the elevators which holds more people failed to operate from May to September in 2023. A small elevator which is next to the leasing office was the only one which was operating, therefore, we had to use stairs. During the first lease, this elevator stopped operating for a few weeks. If you physically count on the elevator, I would highly consider living closer to the one next to leasing office as the other failed to operate a few times during my lease. There is no compensation from the apartment and we were pretty told as if it’s a minor inconvenience. This caused residents stepping off on the wrong floor. Two people trying to open my door was quite scary. This only happened when one of the elevator was not operating. In the end of November, this elevator failed to operate for over night, thankfully, 1-2 days. If you live on the top floor, it’s tough in summer without both elevators working.
Recently, security key fob interface failed to work a few times, some residents and I were locked out of the apartment till 3 or 4 am and thankfully somebody called police for us to rescue.
It was affordable when I moved in. Rent is not negotiable, first year was over 22 percent increase and it gradually increased.
Most of the time, it’s quiet and residents are quieter and considerate. Leasing agents are quick to respond. I enjoyed a a few years of living until 2023. (Aura 444 and AMLI) I do not get what I pay for is my true review for 2023.
