Smelly Apartment
When I first moved in, there was a rancid smell, the AC wasn’t working, and half of the apartment had no electricity. The smell is still here, and management has no idea where it’s coming from. I’ve done my own research and suspect mold could be a factor. I found mold-like spots in the vents, which they replaced, but they claim it’s “not mold” without doing any tests. I’ve already contacted the Houston Health Department to get to the bottom of it myself.
On top of that, when they came to “fix”... the vents, they messed with the AC and left me without power during a holiday weekend, in 90+ degree weather, leaving my apartment at 80+ degrees inside for days. I had to go out and buy a window unit just to survive the heat while the office was closed and no one would help. So disappointing.
