Terrible Experience Since Day One
I don’t usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel compelled to share my experience since moving in July 2024. From the start, there were red flags. Despite this, I signed a lease—a decision I regret.
The leasing process was frustrating. I had to initiate every call because no one followed up with me. When I finally received my offer letter, my name was misspelled and had to be corrected. On move-in day, I arrived on time but waited nearly an hour because my keys hadn’t been... made—a clear sign of poor management. I was also asked to resend my renter’s insurance and proof of electricity, even though I’d submitted them weeks earlier. No one checked their records.
When I got my keys, I wasn’t even the first to enter my apartment—maintenance was inside changing the locks. The kitchen faucet was filthy, and after they refused to replace it, I bought my own. When I opened the cupboards, I found a roach infestation. Despite multiple maintenance requests, the issue was never properly addressed. A maintenance worker even admitted management had been poor since the change—a bold statement less than 24 hours after I’d moved in.
In November 2024, I reported that the anti-slip coating in my bathtub had peeled off. Management told me I’d need to vacate my apartment for 72 hours to fix it but offered no support given the inconvenience—no place to stay or access to a shower. As of February 2025, the issue remains unresolved because I can’t disrupt my work schedule for 3 days.
The roach problem slightly improved only because I spent my own money on treatments after pest control requests failed. My neighbors shared similar experiences, using their own money to manage infestations.
Other issues include poor communication when water is shut off—no follow-up emails to confirm when service is restored. The AC barely works, and maintenance insists it’s fine. Valet trash is unreliable; my trash was left behind, and once, garbage sat in the walkway for days.
Recently, I was fined $50 for a recycle bag I briefly placed outside. I emailed management to explain, but they never responded. It’s frustrating to see them respond to online reviews, pretending to care, yet ignore residents’ actual concerns.
This was my first apartment, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. I hate moving, but I plan to move this summer. I cannot recommend this property or its management to anyone.
