Ventana Apartamentos

I have lived in this complex for many years, and have always felt safe and protected. I returned home after midnight on a Sunday when temperatures had reached 105, and the A/C was down (for the first time in the many years I have lived here). I called the office with an emergency maintenance request, and the gentleman on call came right out with all of his tools and fixed the unit immediately. He was so pleasant, as is everyone at this complex. The management has a well-oiled system going here,... and it is so much appreciated! Lee mas

This facility which boasts of being premium luxury apartments, is terribly less than that. Within the first 90 days the cracks in the wall which were covered by fresh paint started to show. After the snow in February, everything started breaking down, and maintenance is seemingly unable to comprehend the ability to fix anything other than a door or wall hanger. Soon my lease will expire, and I'll be ever so happy to see this place far behind me and reside elsewhere.

Please run run run! My apartment is beyond uneven! The front door has no insulation!

I loved my time at Ventana. The location is great, I was able to walk to do some shopping and eating whenever I felt like it. I knew my neighbors and never had any issues with noise. I did live in a building that was close to Huebner, so of course there would be a little bit of road noise, but I got a great deal so I wasn't too bothered by it. The staff was always attentive to me and friendly. I know one tenant who lived there for over 10 years, which really says a lot about the place. I lived... in both a 2x2 and a 1x1 and found them both the be aesthetically pleasing. Maintenance was never an issue for me. If I hadn't started going back to school on the southside I would have stayed here even longer. Lee mas

I lived here for a year and had a very mixed experience. The location was fantastic, the two pools are very nice, and its a very nice setting. Management is attentive and useful.

However, other members of staff are less reliable than management and who you generally deal with. We had issues with bugs at the apartment for a majority of our stay and made it almost unbearable to live here. Service requests were managed very unprofessionally, i.e. very little notice to bomb the apartment or not... bombing the apartment when they said they did or would. This left us and our animals out of the apartment on at two occasions with less than 24 hours notice.

Also, fixtures are starting to look warn, bathtub and sinks look like they have been painted several times.

Overall, if I was staying in the area, I would not live here another year. Lee mas
