maintenance and maintenance emergencies and more
About a year ago my water heater had a leak, and I immediately called the emergency line, then I emailed the office, then I messaged the complex on Facebook... It took 5 days for me to hear anything back from the complex until the water started dripping into the apartment underneath us, THEN it became an emergency, and we didn't even get compensated by having to deal with it for almost a week! Then our garbage disposal broke and started leaking months ago the Maintenace person came in took a... look at and said I'll take care of it Monday 7 months later and it still doesn't work. now this time my water heater has been had electrical problems since Friday so I turned it off at the breaker and called the office Friday on Monday I was told they were coming that day; they never came. Tuesday, I called, and they told me they'd be there around 4:00-4:30. I called them again at around 4:15 because they still hadn't shown up, they then told me that they would definitely be arriving 5:00-5:30... now it's the next day and my Girlfriend's birthday and they still haven't even started looking at my water heater. THE POOL WATER IS GREEN how is this acceptable in one of the hottest summers in Texas. This place is no hidden paradise. There is no maintenance on site they told me themselves they don't have a maintenance crew on staff. The also told me parts of their office staff don't even have full access to their computers so if you call the office for help, better hope there is someone to actually access the full system I can't wait to leave my apartment in 2 months
