current resident
i’ve been a resident here since may 2023 and just renewed until jan 2025 because i’m not in the place to move elsewhere at the moment. this isn’t an AWFUL complex to live at, but i’ve been having repeated issues with valet trash not picking up my cardboard boxes when i put them out broken down how they’re supposed to be. also, maintenance “emergencies” are not treated as such. the overnight/post office hours phone line claims that if you leave a message describing your emergency, you’ll get a... call back “momentarily”. they do not call back at all no matter the emergency. i have to send an email the next day to make sure they follow up on my message that i left. the leasing office agents aren’t the best either. when i had AC issues this week, and sent an email describing my issues and how it qualified as an emergency, they said they would “monitor the weather” and “if it increases (above 80 degrees) we will send maintenance over to fix the unit”. it was a humid april day in houston…. one glance at the weather app would tell you that the weather would be at 87 by mid day. i had to call the office to make sure they send someone over. the issue was fixed the same day, but it seemed as if it wouldn’t have happened if i didn’t pester a bit. outdoor grills have also been broken for at least 2 weeks, claimed they will be fixed and residents will be made aware of when they’d be good, and we still haven’t gotten an update. in all, when i don’t have maintenance issues, i’m happy living here, but when it rains, it pours it seems. my rate increasing after renewing isn’t really justified when im having these constant issues
