Worst Apartment I've ever lived in

Worst place I've ever lived. First off lied on an ad about the apartment being furnished, had to fight to get a key that worked for our mailbox. Still don't have the key for our outdoor closet. Promised emenaties of washer and dryer which were not available for 6 months. And worst of all we had a hole in one of the bathrooms that was leaking for 4 months and it took 4 months for them to even come and take a look at it. This place provides unacceptable service and doesn't care about any of the... tenants.

Armen, appreciate you leaving us a review on multiple platforms in regards to the same matter even though we have had conversations with you to have you fully understand the situation. We don't advertise about our communities being furnished, but we... are glad to check our data to make sure of this. Our laundry room was not accessible due to damaged caused in the area, but we did communicate to our residents throughout the process and apologized for the inconvenience. We did have a maintenance ticket completed in your apartment due to a leak, but we were able to get the leak repaired right away and were waiting on a third party vendor to complete the patch work. We even had several contact points with you throughout the process to make sure everything will be handled in a professional manner. You're more then welcome to stop by the office or give us a call if you have any other concerns you would like to discuss.

There are better places

Do not rent here! We have had it with this Apt. complex and will be moving soon. The management here is by far the worst we have ever dealt with. Our first encounter with the incompetence of management was when our apt started flooding. We had to call many times just to get a maintenance person over to our APT, only to be told they could not do anything. Then the person in charge literally ran away, I am not kidding, I was told by the head of maintenance that she jumped in her car and literally... ran away, so she did not have to deal with our problem. Our second run in was the last straw. We have a teen who does some school at home and some at school. We have made it very clear that no maintenance shall come to our Apt when she is here alone. We were told many times that it is no problem and that maintenance would call us. On 3 different occasions they have come here without permission to enter and have done work in our apt with NO NOTICE. Luckily 2 of those times I was here. The one that I was not, she locked herself in her bathroom and waited for them to leave. I asked why they did not call and was told that it would be the office who would call us. Trust me, the office IS NOT that busy to not give us a heads up. When you turn in a maintenance request it clearly asks if there is permission to enter, we have said NO each time and they have never contacted us. It even states on Cottonwoods web site that you will be notified in 24 HRS of their arrival. It never happens. When we called the on site management about this, she was a bully on the phone and got very heated with her responses. She even said we have no rights as tenants, that she can do what she wants and can enter our apt ANYTIME.
Pros- -Nice Dog Park-Pool is nice when its not closed-Close to shopping-Nice Clubhouse
-Some of the staff is friendly-Seems like cops are always here doing something
Cons- -It takes at a minimum 5 times to get maintenance to do anything, then they just randomly show up with no notice.-Old Appliances-Next to Walmart with a bad homeless and drug issue- Rent A Cop security-they drive through the complex at 10 PM and that is it-good luck if you really need anything-But cops are here EVERY weekend (see pros)-The amenities are outdated -Hot tub NEVER works-Worst Head Managment I have ever seen
-Some bad dog owners-lots of poo-The Ground Maintenance starts at 7 am on the dot in the summer-it gets loud
-Paper thin walls-Small for the price-Flooding in a lot of areas

Cottonwood Review

I have lived at Cottonwood for about six months and it has been a very pleasant experience. It is a nice facility with useful amenities like a swimming pool and a fitness center. And the units themselves are very well equipped. They include everything you could want including washer & dryer hook-ups and they are very spacious. The only thing that has been unsatisfactory about my living experience is my roommate which is why I would absolutely LOVE to win free rent. I am generally a positive... person and easy to get along with but I am just not meant to have someone live with me I suppose.
