Mice infestation!
I have been complaining to management for 5 months now about the mice in my apartment. I can't leave anything on the table in the dining area. Last week there was one in the bread I forgot to put back in the fridge. I find mouse dropping on the stove, kitchen table, on top of microwave, behind the stove, in the draw under the stove, shoe boxes in my closet, and on my nightstands. I moved my bedroom furniture around because of getting up to one on the night stand by my bed. My daughter had one in... her room that jumped down the vent in the floor. All the vents are now closed. I was notified its not covered in my lease. But according to tenants rights I have the right to live in a safe and sanitary environment? This is not it. I was told to go through my apartment and fill any holes I found. I sealed the closet under the stairs because I found dropping there first. I pulled out old cable wires and sealed the holes with liquid cement. I put down traps, bought peppermint oil, moth balls, the plug in repellents, repellent sprays, remember to remove trash for the night, and placed towels under the doors a night. Nothing is working. But they are consistent about towing vehicles for expired tags or inspection stickers. The only hole that is open in the apartment that I know of is the one maintenance made when I had a pipe burst in the wall and water was spraying everywhere a year ago.
