Terrible apartment building
I lived in this apartment building for four years. I moved during Covid so limited selection in Richmond. Let me just tell you this apartment was terrible and I only stayed because I did not want to move with my job as a resident. My apartment building the moment I started living there the refrigerator was broken. I lost so much money because despite asking them to replace it multiple times they just gave me broken refrigerators again and again. I just kept the last one with the fear that... another would be worse. I lost a lot of money with the fridge and my milk would spoil in 3 days. The freezer functioned as a fridge and food would even spoil in there. Only one of the four stove tops worked from when I moved in. My mom tried every one putting her hands on it and the tops didn’t get warm. I had a broken AC unit for a year and half with no one coming to fix it. It was leaking so much water that I had to put a bucket and would have to dump it daily. Maintenance would move the bucket and at one point left the exposed wire. I was told it would get replaced. It leaked into my water heater and my electricity went out. When I finally told them to fix it before I left, the maintenance guy laughed and said oh yeah we didn’t fix this for a long time. I could not trust maintenance to come into my apartment because they would go through my fridge and report me for having too much in my freezer when I asked them to change a light bulb. Overall a huge distrust to the system. I am a resident and they cited me for being too dirty because I had left dishes on the counter. I had to have management come with the maintenance worker who went through my fridge without permission. She basically was super rude to me and told me that they don’t care and I’m at fault for saying bad things about maintenance worker. Every time I called the leasing office the secretary would say she would find out answers and never would. I would email them and they would answer my questions then go back about what they said. The leasing office went I originally moved in was nice and polite but they have been nothing but rude. I over paid my last months rent and they told me they would not give me the money back. I would never ever live in this building again. No decency to treating their tenants with respect. Maintenance workers should not be going through your personal items. If he went through my fridge then what else did he go through. I asked him to replace a bulb and he never even did that.
