While the setting is gorgeous and peaceful, I’m extremely disappointed in Brackett’s lack of accountability when it comes to completing structural repairs. We were very excited to have a fireplace for the winter, especially since we were not able to travel to see family for the holidays. However, despite having a move-in of May 20th, Brackett waited until October to have the fireplace structure checked. A month later we were finally notified of the results: our unit was broken and in need of... repair. It is now nearly April, and we are still without the use of our fireplace with $250 worth of firewood rotting on our patio. We have had repeated exchanges with management, requesting compensation, to no avail. By far one of these shadiest landlord situations I’ve encountered and I will definitely not be renewing the lease nor recommending this place to others.

These types of repairs are not typically identified during routine apartment turnovers but rather during... property-wide inspections conducted by licensed professionals, as was the case in this instance.
